Welcome to the Beta Phi Mu Beta Lambda Chapter blog!
This chapter serves University of North Texas and Texas Woman's University nominees.
We'd like this page to serve as a place of
discussion for current and future librarians and a way for members to
share resources and discuss topics of interest in the profession.
Enjoy!
This is the library
and information studies honor society. Membership is enabled through a
nominee process by faculty at respective schools. If you are a recent
member, congratulations! If you are a continuing member, thank you!

"The UNT Honor Garden Ceremony where the BPM monument will be unveiled is on Thursday, May 21 at 10 a.m. It will be held in the garden at the Discovery Park campus.
Visitors will need to stop at the guard booth, which I have been told is now staffed all day long. Ask for a free temporary parking pass ... When you enter the building near the Engineering College, there is a vast open area ... you may see a baby grande piano ... and in that area, through the glass walls you can see the Garden. I think that is where it is all happening. The professor who has done this told me, "You will have the only crystal statue of a Dolphin and Anchor in the world."
